Using the site
Everything on this site is open to everyone. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to read anything.
If you ask for new-chapter emails
You can choose to leave your email address so that we can tell you when new chapters are added. Then we keep:
- Your email address, and your first name if you give it.
- The date and time you signed up, the page you signed up on, and your country (worked out by our host, Cloudflare, from your connection; we do not store your IP address).
Why
Only to email you when new chapters or worked solutions are added. We do not send anything else, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone.
If you send feedback
The feedback page keeps what you write: the kind of feedback, your message, the page it is about, the date and your country (from Cloudflare; no IP address). Your first name and email are optional; give your email only if you would like a reply, and we use it only to reply to you. Feedback is used only to fix and improve the site.
Where it is kept
In a database run by Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. Only the site owner can read it.
Students under 18
If you are under 18, please sign up only with the agreement of your parent or guardian.
Your choices
You can ask us to take you off the list, or to show or correct your details, at any time by writing through the feedback page (choose “Something else”) or by replying to any email we send.
Visitor counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are read, roughly from which country, and on what kind of device. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you to other sites.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no cookies. If you sign up, your browser keeps a small local-storage note (wif_upd) so that the sign-up box shows you are already on the list. It holds only the date, not your name or email.
Advertising
To keep the site free we may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change.
